Swedish medal minted to commemorate the conclusion of the peace treaty at Altranstädt Castle (September 24, 1706). The Altranstädt Treaty ending the Third Northern War between King August II of Poland and Elector of Saxony, and King Charles XII of Sweden.

Reverse: two shields of arms (of Poland and Saxony) with the inscription FELICITAS (happiness) between. In the rim SARMATIAE. SAXONIAE.
