A beautifully preserved, very rare medal.
One of two medals commemorating the completion in 1823 of the construction of the Brest Road (begun in 1820). Here the "Warsaw one" - with a depiction of the obelisk located at the Warsaw end of the Brest Route.
Made at the Warsaw Mint.
