Lot description

A beautiful plaque from the early period of the Second Polish Republic.

One of the works of Kazimierz Chodzinski (1861-1921) - a medalist and sculptor active in Lviv, author of a whole range of medals and plaques of the period.

Commemorating Polish Army General Daniel Konarzewski - one of the heroes of the fight against the Bolshevik invasion, participant in the Greater Poland Uprising and many other battles.

Signed Kazimierz Chudzinski Lviv 1919.

On the reverse a plate of the Jan Kupiecki Foundry in Lviv.
