It is the orth of a municipal issue, representing Gdansk's response to the lousy and sub-value coinage flowing into the city. Being the third issue of this denomination during the reign of King Augustus. It was commissioned by the City Council to mincmaster Oeckerman, after the abuses of his predecessor came to light and just part of the mintage of this issue was used to redeem Schwerdtner's bad orts.
A variation of the denomination's numerals in a large wreath, without a sword or spike separating them.
Variant with four patches, with stripes in a 2-3-3-2 arrangement.
