A beautiful, cabinet-like presentation coin.
Single scratch under the horse, otherwise a lovely piece. With natural mint luster.
The penultimate vintage of the Vicariate issues of August III.
A distinctive commemorative half-taler, named after the privilege of the Electors of Saxony, who according to it exercised the vicariate in the Saxon district after the Emperor's death. Coins of various denominations were minted for the occasion, most of them with a beautifully executed depiction of the king pinning a horse.
