A complete set of texts and plates from the original 1845 edition. The entire set is bound in a single, contemporary half-leather binding.
The interior shows slight water stains on the first and last pages, up to approximately page 34 and from page 169. The text block measures 24 x 19 cm, which has preserved fairly generous margins around the text. Of the plates, only T.XVI has a trimmed frame, but the coins are not cut off. The others are mounted somewhat unevenly, but the illustrations are not cut off.

- In-block size: 24 x 19 cm; all plates are fully preserved, with no cropping of the frames

This is a classic of Polish numismatic literature. The second comprehensive catalog of Polish coins, published shortly after the release of Stężyński-Bandtkie’s *Numismatyka Krajowa* five years earlier. It covers the modern period beginning in 1506 and is far more detailed on this subject than *Numismatyka Krajowa*. It is no wonder that it quickly became the primary and definitive reference catalog for coin collectors of the time. It maintained this status in practice until the early 20th century.
Thanks to its extensive text and, above all, the publication of numerous mint documents, this work remains useful to this day.
