A museum-grade, unique value.
Tangible proof that the high denomination of the newly introduced currency in the Kingdom of Poland, silver rubles, did not resist counterfeiters. This is a counterfeit from the era of 10 silver rubles, dated to the second anniversary of the issue. So well made that it was not caught in the era, although its state of preservation shows that it circulated for a long time in natural circulation. And as a denomination with high purchasing power, it was certainly viewed with great accuracy.
Preserved in its natural size, with a single loss in the right margin, repaired with paper of a similar type. A few old, dry peels on the reverse side. No other modern restoration or wet cleaning of the paper.
The only known forgery art from the era of this denomination.
We have found no notations or mentions of such an item. Neither in the literature nor in collections: museums, let alone private collections.
We strongly recommend it.
