In 1768, after a two-year hiatus, the issuance of thalers was resumed, significantly simplifying the form of their obverses. The half-figure of the king in richly decorated armor was replaced by a bust with a band in his hair. The type was initiated during the administration of Justin Schröder (with his initials IS) and was issued for 14 years.
The first vintage of thalers of this type, being the longest in circulation.
An early variant with a rim decorated with a leaf motif.
Variant without an additional acorn on an oak branch.
A rare vintage, struck in a total mintage of 5,500 pieces.
