The thaler from the stylistically consistent 1628 vintage features this one type of bust, with the main difference being the placement of the coat of arms of Treasurer Hermolaus Ligęza. The present one is a variation with the Half-Cozic coat of arms in a simple shield, separating the obverse legend.
Nice, natural art, with no unusual defects. With a slight background sheen and even patina.
Variant with the king's name in SIGIS notation, and the titulature ending in PRVS MA.
Variant with the obverse legend surmounted by a cross, and the reverse by a decorative cross.
