As the author of the monograph of the Crown Mint in Olkusz points out, 1580 was a landmark year for its minting, during which there was a gradual formation of the final style of a whole series of coins. This can be perfectly seen precisely on trojaks, where the royal image, the presence of coats of arms, borders and denomination markings change.
A variety with a large king's head, without the treasurer's coat of arms, with a denomination marking (III) and the Batori coat of arms separating the date.
The coin was minted either at the beginning of the year, before Rokossowski began his work, or already in the period after the unexpected death of the second in command, Piotr Zborowski (after September 13).
Very rare and valued typologically.
