Fully mint selected piece. Mechanically flawless, with only an uneven patina. With a beautiful, clockwork luster.
The last silver gold coin of the Second Republic period. Made at the Royal Mint in London, after the Treasury took this contract away from the Birmingham mint due to the poor quality of the 1924 two-zloty. Withdrawn from circulation starting in 1928, after the decision was made to introduce nickel-minted zlotys. Between 1928 and 1930, as much as 63% of the mintage of silver zlotys was withdrawn from circulation!
