The dwudenar is a very rare denomination at the time of the last of the Vasa dynasty on the Polish throne. It was minted only at the mint in Vilnius, only in 1652.
With its iconography it referred to the dwudenars of previous rulers - on one side presenting the crowned royal monogram flanked by the date, and on the other the coat of arms of Lithuania (Pogon) placed above the denomination and the coat of arms of the treasurer. This simplicity has resulted in it being known from only two variations. The one with the correct notation of the denomination (360 part of the thaler) and a very rare one with an error in it(^60)!
This is a variety not described in Polish catalogs (Kopicki, Kurpiewski, Czapski). Noted only in Ivanauskas' Catalogue of Lithuanian coins, where it received the highest degree of rarity.
